YORK CENTRAL BY KEN HARLAND
Angus Scott has produced a 45 minute video of this 00 Gauge model railway built in an 8' x 20' extension to his house. The main station is of course based on York with its curved platforms and although the roof is reduced in scale its finer details have been faithfully reproduced. It also incorporates features from other locations around the network. Click to play this edited version of the full video.
PETERFIELD BY PETER SHAKESHAFT
Peter started to build this layout in 2007. It's a four track main line with a branch and is capable of running seven trains simultaneously. The layout is 18 feet x 12, with the seven platform main station Petersfield able to take ten-coach trains. There's a hand built, four track, eleven arch viaduct, a large MPD with coaling stage which cleverly empties the wagons and a branch line to the small town of Pennythroup. Here's a video slide show of the layout, but if you would like to visit, please email the Webmaster.
